Overview
Launched by Beijing-based Booster Robotics in 2025, the T1 is a 1.18 m, ~30 kg developer humanoid that became the platform of choice for robot soccer, powering Tsinghua's Hephaestus team to the RoboCup 2025 AdultSize championship in Brazil. It pairs an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin (200 TOPS) with an Intel i7 and full ROS2 support, offering 23 degrees of freedom expandable to 41 with dexterous hands. US pricing starts around $29,800 for the Basic configuration, sold via booster.tech and global distributors, and the robot is used by more than 50 university teams and research institutes. Its impact-tolerant design survives falls, tackles and repeated get-ups on the pitch.
