Shipyards represent one of the most hostile environments for automation. Traditional robotic arms require structured, static work cells, which are virtually impossible to set up inside the cramped, irregular compartments of a massive vessel under construction. Humanoid robots, with their bipedal mobility and human-like reach, offer a theoretical solution to this spatial constraint. However, the physical demands of shipyard work are immense.
