PM01
Agile 1.38 m EngineAI humanoid from ~$13,700 — the first robot to land a front flip — built for developers and education.
Overview
Shenzhen-based EngineAI launched the PM01 in December 2024 as an affordable developer humanoid, with early-bird pricing of ¥88,000 (~$12,000) and international availability from about $13,700. The 1.38 m, ~40 kg robot offers 24 degrees of freedom, 320-degree waist rotation and a naturally human straight-knee gait at up to 2 m/s, and in March 2025 it became the first humanoid to land a front flip. Its x86 plus NVIDIA Jetson Orin computing suite supports cross-platform algorithm deployment for commercial and educational users. The PM01's viral agility demos established EngineAI as one of China's fastest-rising humanoid startups ahead of its ~¥1 billion 2026 funding round.
