Overview

The MagicBot Z1 is a compact bipedal humanoid from MagicLab (Magiclab Robotics Technology, Wuxi), launched in the second half of 2025. It stands about 1.37 m and weighs around 40 kg with battery, offering 24 degrees of freedom (up to 50 in the development version), knee torque up to 130 Nm for high-dynamic moves like impact recovery and standing from prone, and roughly 2 hours of battery life. Perception combines 3D LiDAR, a depth camera, binocular fisheye cameras and a head tactile sensor.
