Overview

Atlas is Boston Dynamics’ all-electric successor to its hydraulic research robot, revealed in April 2024 and developed for enterprise tasks such as parts sequencing and material handling. As of 2026 it is not offered for open sale; deployments are committed to pilot partners including Hyundai and Google DeepMind. Boston Dynamics is majority-owned by Hyundai Motor Group.
