Walker S
First-gen industrial Walker piloted on NIO's car line in 2024; still listed officially but superseded by S1/S2.
Overview
Walker S is the first-generation industrial humanoid UBTECH piloted on automotive production lines (notably NIO) from early 2024, performing quality inspection and assembly-assistance tasks. Around 1.7 m tall with dexterous hands and dual-arm coordination, it validated the Walker platform in real factory conditions and paved the way for Walker S1 and the mass-produced Walker S2 that now lead UBTECH's industrial line. The official page remains live in the Industrial Series navigation with the standard sales-inquiry form, but new deployments are generally quoted on the S1/S2 platforms, so Walker S is a legacy model still nominally marketed.
